Two sides?



All of my scrap bins are overflowing! 

I pieced the back of this quilt from pulling pieces directly from the bin and piecing like mad. The quilt ended up being a king size quilt and, it quilted very flat. I would have been pretty disappointed if it ended up all wrinkled and a mess.  

Tomorrow, when the sun is out - Ill take better pics. If the sun come out. It is raining tonight and the temperature fell again. Almost to a point where using a quilt at night to stay warm would be a smart idea. For the last few days it was so hot that sleeping was a terrible tragedy.

    I'm a big fan of pieced backs and yours is quite an interesting quilt on its own! Nice!

It is Labor Day weekend! I love this holiday .... I'm having a sale on my Etsy to celebrate the cooler weather coming. George and I are making quilts and going to New Orleans parades this weekend. I did take this selfie today, too. Quilt stuff? I'm making a star quilt for my bed. It will be partially scraps and partially other fabrics that were gifted to me or bought. Free motion quilting -

I love free motion quilting.  I draw shapes. Whatever shapes happen to develop while Im quilting. Ive been quilting for about 11 years. Truthfully, I find that I make the same shapes over and over. Lots of curvy circles, mixed in with sharp edges. I also like to echo the shapes into each other.
