recycled quilt

I made another in the set of recycled denim quilts - Ive been working hard on quilts! This is another in the tumbling blocks series. I love this pattern. And, lots of people have asked to buy one. So, I keep making it. I love the pattern and using up old jeans!

The stack of cut up jeans is huge. I have another commission for a denim tumbling blocks quilt! I loved making the other one - I hope I learned some things from making the other one. Like how to sew together the seams in the center of each of the blocks from the inside and not sewing them together with the quilting after. Also - I have a few bags of the same size diamonds left over from the star quilt I made - the diamond shape is the same for both quilts - just the block assembly is different - and this other quilt I want to make is yet another way to assemble the same one piece. It will be cut up fabrics and khaki.

Well, the tumbling blocks quilt is close to being done. I have to add a binding and then we are all done.  I also wanted to add a pic of me saying "Hi" -
